AT THE POST OFFICE HUBS

My parcel arrived at customs on the 14th february which only arrived at the Houghton post office towards the end of april. There should have been a watch to the value of R1700.00. When i went to collect the watch, the parcel was opened and then taped with a brown tape with no watch inside. I opened to parcel in front of the teller. They then made me fill in forms, with copies of the watch, the value from the seller, everything to do an investigation. After the investigation about six weeks later they decided to pay me R414.17 for a watch that cost R1700.00 because it was not insured. I do not know how they arrived at that figure. They must have some rocket scientiest in their investigating team to come up with that kind of figure. But what can one do this is a new South Africa take what is not yours and its ok. MAKE SURE TO USE OTHER MEANS OF POSTAGE IF YOU WANT TO POST IMPORTANT OR EXPENSIVE ITEMS
