Car booked for panelbeating repairs

My car was booked in for accident repairs and has been with DME since the 31 May 2012, with a verbal communication that it should be ready in two week's time. In the beginning of the 3rd week I started enquiring on the exact date of completion and I am given the run around that the date cannot be confirmed because I lot of things can go wrong and they don't want to tie themselves to a date, so they will see, maybe they might or might not finish on the 4th week (week of 24 June 2013). I tried to explain to the repairs' coordination lady Jo-Anne that I need a date since this is now the third week; "surely they must be working on a schedule and they should have some sort of indication of how long this type of work should take! ". She then refered me to the foreman Andries whom I also told my reasons and my request and he said he doesn't want to tie himself to a date and I must just accept that their business is sometimes full of mistakes and they don't want to commit until the last day when they are sure that they're finished, so I must take the feedback as is or leave it. I talked to his manager and he also is of the same opinion as them. I just don't accept this type of service poo
