Long Lasting Epoxy swimming pool paint

We applied Pool Solutions' Epoxy pool paint in a D I Y kit form in 2001 believing that it would last about 3 years. The result was a stunning light blue pool that always looked clean. Due to the fact that the epoxy paint dries to a ceramic like finish, algae does not take hold and I believe you use less chemicals to maintain the pool's cleanliness. The 2001 application began to wear thin and tarnish in 2012 and we are about to re paint using the same product.
