No correspondence or contact but handed ove

I was called by Kgomotso Molete from MBD attorney's today at work for an apparent outstanding tv license. She was rude and ill mannered. She was calling me after 7 years to tell me I owe the SABC. Never once have I received any calls or letters from MBD requesting payment. I fail to understand how a consumer can be handed over without the proper process of collection being followed. Kgomotso screamed at me and when I questioned she said that's how she speaks and I cannot tell her how to talk. I feel she is very rude and should not be working for your company with her lack of manners. She refused to give me the breakdown of the apparent arrears and said that I should just call some number to get a discount, neither did she want to give me the number for the SABC. I was told that MBD has been trying to contact me which I don't believe as I have been in the same company since 2008 and Kgomotso called me today. No collection process was followed but they just want consumers to pay. I feel it is unlawful and unfair. Kgomotso really puts your company to shame. I have sent an email to MBD regarding my concerns and I await feedback.
