Quite simply this is a firm who are happy to take the cash and do no work in return until you, the customer, makes a nuisance of yourself. They frequently ignore direct (but polite) business e-mails and need to be pushed/prodded several times before responding. I found the general level of service unprofessional. If I called my solicitor was always busy and would not return calls, while the only way to get an email response was to copy in independant legal counsel. My advice to VC is that if you don't want customers asking too many questions then do your job properly so that they don't need to. Attempt to be pro-active and if you can't do that then at least be timely with your responses. Most of us aren't legally trained hence why we need legal advice but if this is advice I should have studied law myself... it would have been quicker.
