Slapstick Attitude to my defence

I was unfortunately referred to CJ Ballan attorneys in Knysna. When I went in to meet the lawyer, it was barely for 5 minutes and he didn't seem to listen to the details of my matter which I had to defend, which at least they said they would do.

A few days before the defence was due I called there offices only to find out that this attorney Fraz Fischer went on holiday!!! He seemed to have forgotten to submit my defence and rather tried to settle my case - unbeknownst to myself.

When I called, the scambled about to try and repair the matter however it was far too late. When I hired new attorneys they quickly sent me a bill for R3500.00 (which I had to pay to new attorneys to clean up their mess), no apology, no explanation. I sent Colleen Ballan several requests to escalate a complaint which they also illegally have ignored.

I have duly reported them to the Law society of SA. Lawyers are not a law unto their own. They are not allowed to bully or prejudice anyone. Consumers beware and be aware.
