Charged for them calling incorrect number!!!

Received an sms informing us of being handed over to them (RCS a total different story). We received the SMS on Friday 24/05/2013. I called today 27/05/2013, and they tell me the amount i need to pay has changed as they tried to call the INCORRECT NUMBER and still charged me for it. I CANT BELIEVE THIS.
