They tried to sell me a domain name that wasn't registered yet

BayPoint (Bay Point) just tried to scam me by selling a .co.za over the phone.
They wanted my credit card details.
Went I checked the domain name, I saw it was available. I could just register it by myself for a much lower price.
I am so tired of crooks.
