Health & Medicine

My fiancee was due to be discharged from the Hospital leaving the baby at ICU for extra few days which necessitated me to buy a brand new Electric breast pump on the 30/01/2014 the day she was discharged so that she can pump milk and leave for the baby. While packing to leave at 18:10 we left behind on top of a cupboard of Ward J04 an electric component of the breast pump. Due to not knowing the numbers to their reception we opted to get it the following day. To our suprise when we got to the Hospital we asked if the nurse who was cleaning Ward J04 where my fiancee was admitted have seen it they said no. On their walls they have written that the hospital is not liable for any loss of patients possessions yet they harbour who can easily from patients when they are sedated. We were obviously wrong to believe that private hospitals are better than public because the highly paid nurses still managed to effortlessly give us the sinking feeling of public hospitals. I want the pump back or my money. It did not come cheap R700 can go a long way especially when we have a new born.
