I joined fedhealth became a member cause apparently they the best medical aid - rubbish i am a new member tried getting pre- hospital authorisation for my son - he needs to go in for the day for dental - they will not authorise as they say there is a waiting period for dental procedure - bunch of liars on there website states clearly - ''In-hospital dentistry for children under 8 - we cover the hospital and anaesthetist costs from the In-Hospital Benefit while the dentist's account comes from day-to-day benefits (OHEB and Savings).
*The Authorisation Centre must be contacted at least 48 hours before the procedure. Authorisation will be granted provided no dental authorisation was granted for the same child within at least six months of the required admission date" now they have a different story - took them a week to tell me this after continuous phone calls - i will be cancelling this medical aid without paying!!! i asked for them to email me where it states the 1 year waiting period still waiting -

How can i prevent my child- he complained with tooth ache last week managed to take him to the dentist and then he requires fillings in theatre not our fault its within a month
