No reply on emails

In April my son had a operation to repair a torn cross ligament in his knee after a rugby injury. Authorisation was given for the procedure, afterwards we had to find out that the prostesis used during the procedure (according to the dr there is no other way to fix the ligament) was not paid. I was not warned about the R 10 000 co- payment. Various correspondence was sent in this regard - including a motivational letter from the dr - with still no feedback on this matter. The latest correspondence was sent 15/17/21/23/24 October with nobody coming back to me in this regards. The hospital has now notified me that they are handing us over to attorneys for this payment.??
