Deformation of my name over R600

I went to Lake-smith and partners to have an x-ray of my left shoulder done, when getting there I asked the ladies at the counter if they need anything more from me for the procedure they assured me that my medical aid would pay for this procedure and i should not worry. I offered to pay for it but the lady there said that my medical aid would pay for it and that I should not worry.
This was in March 2013 and up until last week I still received threats of handing me over for not paying.
the problem came about as a direct result of the incompetency of the staff of Lake-Smith and partners, they claimed with the wrong ICD code and as a result the medical aid did not pay, but they took a chance and send me a letter saying I must pay.
Why should I pay when my medical aid would have paid They should have just done there job and make sure that they claim with the right code and Lake-Smith and partners would have been paid in in April already,
Now that it is almost to late to claim now Lake-Smith and partners want me to pay??
I will not pay this R 600 and its not because I don't want to pay but purely out of principle, big companies pray on the ordinary person!!!
