Watch out before considering hospitalization here

Health & Medicine

I have been hospitalized since Friday 2013-09-27 at Hoogland Mediclinic in Bethlehem for Bronchitis treatment. At first everything seemed ok when I reported at casualties for treatment. I was treated in a professional manner there but the disaster struck when I was admitted to the ward. To be exact ward B13. I am a diabeti and need a special diet. The first meal arrived and the food looked like prison food. Three half cut slices of bread with melted cheese? Where is the menu? Not even considering my diabetic illness. After I had my infusion removed to another arm, the staff left the needle on the floor one of the nurses said that they don't know how it got there? This morning I had breakfast with muesli and yoghurt... it was non diabetic. It contained cane sugar. Still there is no indication on myself or a board indicating that I am a diabetic patient. Things are not up to standard as I am used to excellent service from Bloemfontein Mediclinic. How do they wake you up at half past 4 to be change your linnen? I didn't even wet the bed. Where does these staff come from?
