Chronic option denied for years

I have had years of 6-monthly tests for hereditary conditions and prescriptions that Discovery covered only from our savings account. The specialists have for years put me chronic medication for the prevention of two serious conditions Both my doctor and Clicks Garden Route Mall have applied to have this changed from having to fork out month after month from our savings account to chronic but to no avail. How ill does one have to be in order for a so-called 'top of the range' medical aid providers that we diligently support with our horrendous contributions!! before treat us in fair way... When will Discovery consider that PREVENTION IS BETTER THAN CURE???
