I submitted a claim on the 10th May 2013 for an appointment to see Dr Jody Pearl, I was informed that this claimed would not be paid as it is falls into the 12 month waiting period for a preexisting condition, HOWEVER when I contacted your call centre on the 6th May the person I spoke to assured me that the amount may not be paid in full as the specialist was not registered with Fedhealth but they will pay a portion out of my savings...
I then went to your head office in Florida and the assistant said I need to lay a complaint and email you it is really bad that I got given incorrect advice!!!
We would not have gone to this doctors appointment if we knew that it didn't come out of savings!!!
I would like to find out how Fedhealth will fix this? And you also need to educate your call center agents as this is not the first time I have received incorrect information!!!
