We decided to install a cctv network at out shop in the Strand and got a quote from Johan Visser of Cam Vision SA cc. He was very quick to follow up on his correspondence to ask if it met our needs and it appeared that he was very service driven and reliable. Once we got a solution that satisfied us, he invoiced us saying that he required us to pay him a 50% deposit and that he would start the job on the same day. We made payment on 27 July 2012. Two days later he was nowhere to be seen and would not take calls. Eventually at the end of the week he answered the telephone and said that he had been in a car accident but would be there to install the system the following week and since then he basically does not answer his phone. We have reported the matter to the police and are pursuing a charge of against him
