Samsung Galaxy Tab 2 7" Screen rubbish

I got a Samsung Galaxy Tab 2 7" on Feb 6th 2013 as an upgrade from MTN in Somerset mall, first thing I asked the sales rep was is there any pouches or some kind of protection for this unit seeing its a pretty big screen and I got told that nothing has been made for it yet because it's so new... which is utter BS because the Tab 7" is exactly the same size: S. well what happened today is I was talking on the phone with one of my suppliers and as I was busy hanging up, the phone slipped and fell 2 inches on my desk which is wooden and the screen just shattered I was like what the my whole desk was full of glass splinters where the phone fell, I mean if you guys are using glass then tell the person buying the phone this if I was walking and fell with the phone my face would have been deformed now... to get to the point if I knew this thing was so badly built I would have never took it on my contract, MTN tells me that they will send it in and it will cost me - R800 to repair for a phone worth R1999 they must be joking. I sincerely want samsung to contact me about the dangerous product they are selling as a phone/tab its a joke to be honest. I either want a refund or free repair.
