TV repair under warrenty

I notified Samsung SA of my 51" Plasma that needs repairs, still under warranty, on 2014/01/17.

They got Liptronics, Parow, to assist me. Liptronics phoned me on 2014/01/20 around 2pm and made an appointment with me to meet @ 15:45pm. I told them i am 32km from home and need to get back, so it was going to be a quick pick-up and back to work. At 4pm, 15 minutes past the hour i phone them to hear why they are late. Their response was sorry we going to 2 more customers and then to me. So probably in the next 45minutes. Now, @#@#. Why not phone me and tell me that before the time so i can leave work later or make alternative arrangements.

Furious, I had no choice and went back to work. Logged a complaint to Samsung. So Samsung gets George on the line from Liptronincs. I mailed George pictures of the problem and he assures me that he will order the part and it takes 2-3days.

So, i gave them 5 days. Emailed/phoned on 2014/01/27 and phoned again on 2014/01/28, left messages etc. Still no-one getting back to me nor can give me an answer if the part was ordered.

Samsung, judging from similar complaints here, i suggest you relook at using liptronics as a supplier.
