S4 is slow, pathetic, useless

Never been so disappointed in my life!
I battled to convert from my Satio to a Blackberry Torch but this is certainly scraping the bottom of the barrel. I loved my Torch but have sim-swopped per "recommendation" to a micro-sim to a S$ and my BB is now disabled. S4 gobbles up data bundles, airtime, sms's. Internet, Opera Mini, Samsung, Google, Google It's not even checking my emails and today the Internet (in any of the above methods) is off! Just great. Oh a reboot-also doesn't help!
