Samsung Washing Machine Faulty 2 times in the 1Y

I purchased a 13 kg Samsung washing machine in January this year. On the day on receiving it, i noticed that the Timer was counting up rather that down. Game replaced the unit with another one, no problem
Its 11 months later, the same problem came up.
Whats bothering me is that prior to this, i had a LG for 15 years, the only requirement was cleaning the drum.

I am in progress to change all my appliances to Samsung as its my preferred brand, now i have doubts.
Its a bit too early in its life cycle to start with repairs.

maybe its time to rethink and go back to the reliable LG.
