Terrible service from CN tronics / Sinotech

Electronics and household app.

I had bought a 42" TV from Game a few years ago and the only reason I chose the Sinotech brand, is because it boasted a 5 year warranty. From day one we had an intermittent problem where the screen would go blank and u would have to press the button a few times before it comes right again. The problem just kept getting worse, but in the meantime I had lost my receipt through a fire. I tried to get assistance from Game with no joy. Finally I had contacted Bradley from CN Tronics throughout the 4 times it was sent back to repair. Each time it worked for a week or so and then went to a blank screen. He promised to assist me by first saying he will get it replaced then swopped. Now 8 month later and after the TV and been sent back 4 times to get repaired I get a call from the repairs dept saying that its now out of warranty and she can sent me a quotation to fix the TV - What an audacity?? I have contacted consumer watch to deal with this now, and wanted to share with you - don't make the same mistake that I made by buying a Sinotech TV U would regret it. I have since then bought a 55" (wait for this) LG smart TV?
