Willowridge High School
And Rude Behaviou

Good Day,

I am very perturbed by the way Mrs. Liz Short, the lady responsible for admissions at Willowridge High School, treated a family member of mine. My sister had to transfer up to Gauteng from the Eastern Cape because my mum got a job offer at P.S. Fourie Primary School in Eersterus. My sister was placed on the A waiting list and when my uncle got there to find out what the status quo was, Mrs. Short told him that my sister was on the B waiting list again due to the fact that my mum did not have a permanent physical residence. She refused to understand after he explained the situation to her numerous times that my mum was literally given 1 days notice about the vacancy they had up here for her. My sister is under age and had to leave her current school in Port Elizabeth in order to move up here with her. Mrs. Short was blatantly rude and walked away from my uncle while he was stil explaining. A parent from the school stopped my uncle outside the school and told him that there are several parents of colour who have complained about Mrs. Short's behaviour as well. We are still awaiting a response from the school with regards to placing my sister.
