UNISA's "Contact Service Department" is shocking!!

I sent an email to apply for a special exam / supplementary exam for the economics exam I couldn't attend due to the fact that we had a death in the family (my Grandmother) and had to attend to funeral arrangements etc in the days preceding my exam. I was scheduled to write the exam on the 07/11/2012 and due to the unfortunate circumstance could not attend to my studies / exam.

I sent the initial request for the supplementary exam on the 14/11/2012, which falls within the 10 day period one has to apply. After numerous requests for feedback, I have not received any information from anyone aside from automated responses promising prompt feedback. The latest email I received was from Irma Thema requesting some person with no name or contact no. to get back to me on the 7/01/2013 and I STILL haven't heard anything.

I think UNISA needs to drop this whole email / sms service because it is no service at all and leaves one wondering what their staff are ACTUALLY doing, because attending to queries is definitely is one of them.

I am highly annoyed and very disappointed!!! Do I need to complain via this medium every time I need something resolved!!!
