Farcical Administration

The administration of UNISA is farcical to say the least. I applied on time last year and submitted documents for RPL for their perusal and every time I called I was informed to resubmit these documents. Finally (in January 2013) they responded about some Matric Exemption substance I had not enquired about. I asked on numerous times how this applies to me and no one was prepared to answer me just that I need to pay R400 towards this substance I did not understand. I then registered but did not pay the fees as I was awaiting feedback on my RPL and I forwarded an email to the UNISA Ombudsman who only responded to me a month later (today) and I have now been informed that I cannot register as the deadline has passed and I need to re-apply for the 2nd semester. What kind of ineptitude is this coming from an international university? Dealing with UNISA seems to be even worse than dealing with the worst government department as there are no escalation measures that can ensure timeous TATs. If even the Ombudsman is so lax on their service what more can we expect from this institution? My PDP is now in disarray!
