You will wait up to a year for your certificates

In January 2013 myself and a number of eager delegates attended an SDF (Skills Development Facilitator) course. I wanted to attend in November 2012 but the course was cancelled and I could only attend in January 2013. I made it very clear from the first discussions with Primeserv that I was unemployed and intended completing the course so that I can start my own consultancy once I receive my certificates and accreditation. I had to submit a portfolio of evidence and did so within the course required time. Primeserv acknowledged receipt of the portfolio in April 2013 after I had to call to get the acknowledgement. Months went by without a word from Primeserv. I had to constantly check in with and did not receive any calls from Primeserv at all. I lost my temper after receiving answers that made no sense at all.By June 2013, I became quite anxious as the deadline for the submission of Workplace Skills Plans was drawing near and I was unable to assist the small client base that I had started building up due to the fact that I did not have my accreditation as SDF yet. Now, almost a year later, I am still waiting for PRIMESERV to give me my documents. DON'T USE PRIMESERV!!!
