Poor Communication with Students!

I have sent an email complaint to Unisa re the below but received no response.

I am very disappointed in a course I was signed up for with UNISA - Tax Law LML4804. I have been studying through UNISA for 4 years now and find this course to be very unorganised.

Prior to the November exam, I went through all the material with mounting panic as half the content which is in the past papers - which the course organisers themselves posted on myUnisa - was not in the material. As I went through the past papers, it seemed that about 60% of the papers had not been addressed in the study guide or textbook.

I then went and found other textbooks to try cover the material. Eventually I decided that I had no understanding of this work and opted not to write the exam.

On the MORNING of the exam, the course coordinators chose to inform the students that the course content had in fact MASSIVELY changed from the past paper samples online and most of this information had been cut out.

I would like to be refunded the amount I paid for this module as a credit to put towards another more organised module or alternatively be given a supplementary exam grant for this course.
