I have a huge problem with the school my son is attending. Anyway I registered my son to this school knowing that the fees were R1190 a month which was fine and unfortunately I had some work issues along the way making me fall back on my monthly payments which I didnt think it would be so much of a problem as I knew once I get out of my financial predicament I will catch up and pay as normal.
I was called into the school as I was being threatened that my child would not write his examination until the school fees were paid up to date.
I was seen by the secretary who had a huge attitude she told me if I want to have free education I should take my child to a government school and this wasnt even said in private school kids were right outside the door listeneing aswel as other parents I was so embarressed. She didnt want to listen to what I had to say and this is a normal phrase she kept telling me everytime she called. I paid up my schoolfees up to date on the 23 of October I was called on 16.11.2013 now they are charging interest of R2290.Is this fair? Is education not important or is it money not that Im saying it should be free? Please assist me. IM DEPRESSED
