Cannot Register for specific module

Have been trying to register for a specific module since S2 registration opened with no luck. Registration is now closed. Part of the problem is that I was registered for this module in S1, but denied to write the exam because of assignment that was not registered as submitted even though I have proof that it was submitted on time.

I emailed, with no response decided to phone. Spending about an hour on the phone between Thursday and Friday I realised that it was not really helping because you are just referred to another department where the phones either keeps on ringing or you are cut off immediately. I have been studying since 2006 and is close to completing my degree, this is the first serious problems I've experienced.
