Unisa
Recognition of Prior Learning

Education & Science

Hello Peter

I have been a Unisa student for a very long time and have been working in the field of my studies for over 15 years, which is HR. I have completed 31 modules with towards my BCom in Industrial Psychology and have been battling with Financial Accounting Reporting which is not my major but a compulsory subject and have failed this 6 times. I would like to know from the Dean if the institution actually recognises prior learning, taking my experience in HR, alternatively of there is a limit of failing one module before a solution is sought. This one module is the only thing keeping me from graduating.

My prior telephonic and personal enquiries have been fruitless. I would appreciate feedback from Unisa.

Thank you.

Alice
