Fall from glory

Walked into Brights Hardware Store in Uitzicht, Oostenberg. I am almost the only customer in the entire store. Not a store attendant insight. When I spot them, they are all standing in a corner chatting.
The one thing that made Brights stand out above all other hardware stores was (!) their knowledgeble and competent and genuinly helpful staff! Now, all that is left is a bunch, more interested in passing the day chatting than going the extra mile for customers! The Stikland branch still stands head and shoulders above the rest!!!
