Gerrit Steenkamp took a huge deposit to do some small jobs on my pool and never did any of the work. He took R1000 deposit for a R1650 job. The one time he did actually pitch to do work he did not have all the equipment necessary e.g. ladder, glue, pipes. He brought a defective timer and had no clue on how to install it, he left leaving all the wires exposed and made false promises of coming back and then never did and disappeared with the deposit. He is full of excuses on why he can never do any work, the only time he will pitch is if there is extra work, then he will demand a further deposit. Once paid, never to be seen again. Looking on the internet, he has been at this for some time. This has been the worst experience and I would not even recommend him to my worst enemy.
