PENDALIA BODY CORP COMPLAINT RE.NORTHGLEN PAINTERS

1. The Body Corporate of Pendalia appointed Northglen Painters (NP) in 2012 to paint and refurbish the exterior walls of the buildings at Pendalia.
2. Our experience has been that the quality and customer service is dissatisfactory.
3. Despite numerous problems being brought to the foreman's attention & undertakings by the owner that the issues would be rectified nearly a year and a half later nothing has been remedied.
4. There are approximately 90 issues including peeling, flaking, bubbling and blistering paint, severe cracks appearing, damp and water seepage, poor "patching", inconsistency in paint colours, & wood surfaces being left sanded & unvarnished. These issues were apparent to NP when the initial painting was being done, but they chose to do nothing.
5. NP were last on site in July 2013 to attend to the complaints. No work was done as "they did not have the materials to do the work".
6. They have since not responded to our correspondence nor will they answer our calls.
7. We have been informed that they have included us in their list of referrals.
8. The Body Corporate of Pendalia does not recommend Northglen Painters.
