I purcahsed both tivoli/jasmime taps. They are written 5 years guarantee. The tap has a factory fault. Consulted tivoli and the only solution was to put a glue on the tap. I refused because the last time i checked glue and water is a temporary measure. Upon written of the tap i was charged 10% of the cost of the tap, why? Becasue the PLUMBER SHOULD HAVE PUT A CLOTH BETWEEN THE SPANNER AND THE BOLTS WHEN INSTALLING THE TAP. Now that the bolt shows that they were once installed i have to be penalised. I'm just wondering should the taps gave problems after 3 years in what condition are they expecting to find the tap, If in a week's time you are being penalised. Don't be fooled by what is written as a guarantee there's no such. Had to keep my fingers crossed for my refund to be transfered in my account after more than a week. WHEN PURCHASING A TAP, HAVE YOU EVER BEEN TOLD THAT YOU MUST MAKE SURE THAT THE PLUMBER USES A CLOTH IN BETWEEN THE SPUNNER AND THE TAP? Under normal circumstences can you imagine how one can tighten up a tap with a cloth in between? Shame on you bathroom bizarre that's a dodgy deal at its best.
