Rediculously expensive nuts from Cashbuild/ Eureka

Yesterday I bought a pack of 20 X 12mm Eureka galvanized nuts at Cashbuild in Edenvale at a price of R46.90. That's R2.34 per nut. Today I checked with my local hardware and their price is R1.00 each. I don't have the product details because the packet, which looks like it had been opened, did not have a label. The number 300872 is written on the back of the packet in pen. I only needed four nuts and there was no smaller packet on the Eureka rack. I don't like being ripped off like this - their price is R1.34 more expensive and that for a bulk pack of twenty.
