DONT EVER PURCHASE A DELL- SHODDY Reliability

Two years ago I purchased a Dell and I can honestly say I have regretted every moment of it due to its shoddy reliability. I don't usually complain as a customer but I'm fed up and potential buyers deserve to know. The first problem I encountered with was during the third month and it spontaneously ceased to work in its entirety. Fortunately for me it was only 3 months old and it fell within the guarantee and Dell had to replace it. Upon receiving the new Dell, it had limited software installed unlike the original and 6 months down the line the DVD rom stopped working along with the track pad. Upon returning it to Incredible Connection the DVD rom was replaced with much duress and I insisted that the software be reloaded to its original format with Dell threatening me to pay for it, which I refused of course and only 4 months after that the motherboard ceased to work Once again it was fixed. Yet again, my computer today shuts down and restarts itself during my work and sometimes doesn't even start up during periods. I am a varsity student and I don't find it feasible to own a Dell and I warn any students or parents not to purchase. When one pays so much one expects it to work!
