MISSING: RENAULT FRONT BADGE, REAR BOOT SHOCK, FUEL CAP
My car (Renault Scenic) was taken to Stikland service center for the computer to be replaced&programmed. We received a quote for the costs & had the vehicle towed to their branch. Upon receiving my car back, I learned that the items were missing. My husband contacted their office and was told that my car was parked AT OWN RISK!! This was never brought to our attention prior or during the service. My car was in their possession for 2weeks, after which they still couldnt get the car to start & then outsourced to their agent (REN-O-WORX). I contacted Brandon (REN-O-WRX) who confirmed that the items werent in tact when the vehicle was signed in to his shop. I called & spoke to the Service manager, Herman Smit re: the missing items. He defensively told me that my car was standing at own risk. I replied no one informed us. He then justified the missing items saying, cheap labour was requested, yet they gave us a quote & that the oil was thick. In the week I found the battery they replaced wasnt tightened properly.5 Days later, I sent Mr Smit an e-mail wanting his response in writing, he replied 7days later, "It did not get lost here, sorry."
