Bought a used Land Rover from George on 5 July 2012. On purchase there were things which were contracted to fix such as scratches, Sun roof blind etc. After taking my vehicle in to the panel beater that George stipulated, a week later I collected the vehicle with all the scratches still there. Apparently they were too expensive and Land Rover declined to pay!! (I was without my car for a week!!). Because I live in Durban, it is very difficult to communicate with him and their spray painter in George is apparently much cheaper than we can get here in Durban. In January this year, I noticed bubbles forming under the paint of my bonnet. This was apparently sprayed by their guy in George before I bought the vehicle and not prepped properly. Again I get quotes and the promise of payment to fix this. Again they decline the quote!! It is now April 2013 and I still have the scratches and the paintwork full of bubbles on the bonnet. I fail to accept that a reputable Land Rover dealership can treat customers like this!
