Fuel Tank not fill when taking delivery

Hi EC

I hired a car today from OR Tambo. Everything looked fine when I checked through the car so I left for my first business meeting. 5km into my trip I noticed that the fuel needle started to drop. 50km into my trip I was 3/4 full. I really hope that I am not going to be paying for someone else's fuel bill before me. I have taken photos of the above info if you need them. I am only driving a Hyundai Atos and they are obviously not heavy on fuel. If I'm not mistaken I have never driven a car that's fuel gauge starts dropping before -R160km, so please can you try and explain this?
