Cars & Transport

Volvo Foreshore serviced my car about two months ago; when on holiday a month ago I got a crack in my cars oil sump. It became clear that there is no sump guard on the motor, but the fittings are there. It is obvious that Volvo failed to place the sump guard back on the car after servicing this. When they quote me R9000 to get this crack fixed the ONCE AGAIN fail to add a sump guard to the fixing of the sump. The Workshop Manager at Volvo Foreshore's response to all of this: "Some of these models come out with a sump guard and some don't" It has been a month and there is still no solution to this. No communication from Eddie at all. No car was offered to me while I am sorting this problem; no one has taken ownership of this problem and takes responsibility for this problem that I have encountered due to negligence at the time of service. They now expect me to prove that the car had a sump guard which is absolutely ridiculous, WHY so I have to get under my car every time "professional" people service my car to double check if they have done everything they should have. Volvo is supposed to be a quality brand that delivers cars in line with this brand.
