Engen Petroleum
Bad attitude towards clients

Cars & Transport

I visited the Engen Service in New Redruth in Alberton in Gauteng to full petrol and buy bread. While the petrol attendant was filling petrol, i decided to go to the quick-shop to buy bread. When i went to pay for the bread, i realised that i left my wallet in the car. So i left the bread at the cashiers counter and went to fetch my wallet. On my return to pay for the bread, i was told by Apiwe, the cashier and i quote ' why did you leave your bread here as fellow customers are crying. You should have left you bread back on the self if you didn't have the money on you'. It took me literally seconds to get the money but the manner in way he spoke was totally unacceptable. I tried to understand what he meant when he said the customers are crying but he kept on saying that i should have put the bread back on the self. I then asked if they had full cream milk and he asked if i check in the fridge. i said yes but there is nothing there. He responded by saying ' then i don't know'. I normally full both my vehicles at the very same service station, every week and half but with this kind of attittude, i am serioulsy think of changing my service station.
