Ger-Matic Autobody
A VW Approved repairer?? No way!

Cars & Transport

My VW Polo was booked in at Ger-Matic Auto Body on 19Oct12 for repairs on the left rear door and left rear fender. On 16Nov2012 I received an email stating that my car is finished and that I can go and pick it up. On the morning of 19Nov12, arriving at G-M, they were still busy cleaning the car. I inspected the car and could not believe my eyes seeing the poor repair. Told them that I'm not taking the car. 23Nov12, another email from G-M that my car is finished. Went there again on 26Nov12 to collect my car. This time they parked it inside their workshop in a poorly lighted area, so I figured to ask for the vehicle to be parked outside in the sun, the best place to observe a car for defective repair work, but still substandard work. I did not take the car. 28Nov12 yet another email to collect my car. Went to Germatic on 29 Nov13. I was still not happy with the car but took it as my holiday was coming up. Agreed with the workshop manager to return on 14Jan13. 16Dec12 I took my car back as the wheel alignment was out. On 14Jan13 I booked my car back in at G-M. received it back on 4Feb13, still not properly repaired. Returned it again on 21Feb13. Today is 20March13, still waiting?
