Non-return of old/used parts

Serviced my Corolla RXI - NVS024GP, where it was determined that my car's radiator was leaking although it was replaced just over a year ago.

i requested that the service centre return the worn part to me so that i can verify, but was only met with excuses like..."we can't the find the old part" or "We may have thrown it away"...

I was also given a completely different radiator to try and bluff me off.

The dealer Principal offered to let me view the CCTV tapes but till now has not called to make an appointment.
