Poor Service and Poor Attitude towards Customers

After obtaining quotes from numerous removal company's to make our move from JHB to Ballito, we finally settled on Master Movers and paid in advance for the move.

Their staff in JHB were friendly and seemed efficient but it was only on delivery in Ballito that we realized things had not gone as we had hoped.

We found that some of our goods were damaged, including a new Samsung Side by Side fridge which had been dented and scratched despite us paying a big premium for what the company calls "special packing".

We have various items missing and many of our other items were dirty and looked like they had been dragged across the floor of a dirty truck and/or carried with dirty hands.

One month later and we are still trying to get the Master Movers' insurance company to settle our claim.

The most upsetting part is that Master Mover's have had the audacity to send me an additional invoice for moving some of the items that never arrived. They have not made any effort to apologize or explain how things went so horribly wrong.

I have found their attitude to resolve the matter poor and that the customer is always wrong. Their rep even told me "don't go around shouting the odds"!
