Cracked Windscreen

On Monday the 4th of February my car was towed to Hyundai Sandton when we did the car assessment the was no crack on my windscreen the towing company guy gave me the sheet and we left the car. On Wednesday the 13th when I went to pick up the car the was a crack on my car. I have spoken to Shaun at the dealership who said I must bring the piece of paper that proves that the car did not have the crack, when I brought the sheet on Thursday the 14th of February he said now who must he believe me or his guy well he thinks the car had a chip and the chip then became a crack. He says we can't blame anyone, so I must therefore incur the cost that come with the cracked windscreen. This is really frustrating because now I have to incur cost of something I didn't do. As it is I have the rental company cost due to the car taking longer than what I was promised @ their workshop now I have to add the windscreen to my costs. I'm very disappointed at Hyundai
