Huyndai i20 loses value fast

I bought my i20 1.6 remix in July 2012 with service plan extension and warranty extension to the amount of R191000.

Trying to trade the vehicle in on any other car 8 months later, the best offer I got is R125000. How can this be possible to lose over R60000 in less than a year? The car is still in brand new condition with low mileage and this is all I can get.
