Bryanston Executive Cars
Sold me a car which they knew had a fault

Cars & Transport

I was sold a vehicle from Bryanston Executive Cars in Randburg which i took delivery of on 2nd January 2013. I drove around using the car from work to home (short distances)..On 26 January 2013 I drove the vehicle on one of the highways in Joburg & that's when the transmission problem was revealed. The vehicle could not move at a high speed of over 80km/h!

I reported back to the dealer the same day and took back the car immediately. I was told to leave the car there and that they would have it sorted out asap. Upon the same time the car sales man revealed that he had noticed the problem some time back before i had even purchased the vehicle. If they had taken care of the problem @ the time before i bought the car then i would not be in the mess am in right now.

i have been without transport from 26 January to date 7the Feb and I still dont know when i Will have car back and if @ all it will be in a good condition. I have had to spend money on car rental while am paying for a car that am not even using for 2 weeks! Car rental is R407 per day and i can only claim max of R1000 from insurance! This infuriates me because the dealer sold me damaged goods and shows no remorse.
