Hertz Car Hire
Beware when booking - they cancel

I booked a car in mid Jan for this weekend. I notice that I have no response to them after I sent them a response as per their email. So I phone them.

Oh sorry we cancelled your booking. So I ask why did no body bother to tell me about this. I get told there was a system generated email.

I ask for a copy of it and I get told, dont think we can. It was system generated. So I told them to get me a copy.

Hertz - really, this is ridiculous.

If you can produce this email TODAY I expect you to honour the booking as I did everything according to your processes.

In the meantime, I will now have to start my search of car hire places for this weekend as I obviously have nothing better to do.
Otherwise you should put a warning on your website that people should follow up with Hertz as Hertz does not follow up with you.

Had someone bothered to contact me we could have resolved the issue in 2 seconds flat.

This has got to be the worst car hire system I have ever seen worldwide.
