Long story short. I sent a postal order from Sutherland (R250) to Aramex CPT, to deliver to Kimberley (R271), after phoning Aramex to make sure it would be delivered on the 31st of Dec 2013. When the person arrived at Aramex, she was told that it would only be in Kimberley @ 14h30 and would need to be picked up from their branch. I arranged another courier to do this (R200).

On the 31st, I tracked the parcel and it was still in CPT around 09h30. I phoned CPT & Kim branches. Later I was told it would only reach them on the 2nd. I had to make alternative arrangements and deposit money into an officials personal bank account to get my liquor license paid in time.

I arranged with Aramex to bring back the parcel as I need to cancel the postal order. On Friday I was phoned again to tell me the parcel was delivered at the recipient. Nice work Aramex - I did not only loose the R721 I spend on courier fees, but now I also lost the R2250 I paid twice. Will never use or recommend you and will warn people against the poor service I got from you, as far as humanly possible.
