Car service - returned with scratch

My ford figo was sent in for its service on the 18th Dec 2013.Problem 1:Booking for service was made more than a week ago and now the part that needs replacement is out of stock. On day of booking I informed them I received a recall letter of a faulty part and needs to be replaced. Now another day will be lost to bring it back to ford hatfield. Problem two: My husband went to fetch the car and a scratch the length of a ruler is on the drivers door. Problem 3:My husbands car was in for service the day before and came back sounding like a lawnmower. Now apparently the water pump needs to be replaced. Is the point of a service not to check parts and then replace if faulty? Apparently not to ford hatfield. If we didnt phone back they would leave you to drive with parts that are not functioning correctly! The incompetence is staggering!! Did they really think that a scratch or sound would not be noticed by the owner!! This is a disgrace and further legal action is already in process.
