I bought a brand new MV August Brutale 800 from Cayenne a little over two months ago. I made the transition from car to bike and had to go with a new vehicle for the sake of security.

It must be said that the service from sales to purchase was second to none and the support has been great.

I feel let down though having had a nerving break down in the fast lane of the M1 motorway at 2200km of owning my bike. The bike simply cut out and stopped working. Given the motorway and traffic it was a hair raising moment. The 24 hour assist was great and they helped get the bike back to Cayenne for evaluation however once the bike was received and I was told it'd be evaluated I was sent a quote which I challenged based on the fact the bike was new and had a std warranty and additional Cayenne warranty at an additional charge. Having challenged the quote I received no e mail correspondence or phone calls to say what was happening. The bike is my only form of transport and without it I am naturally in a predicament.

My complaint is directly aimed at that flaw and not the general service of Cayenne

I still support the business and hope to deal with them in time to come based on the outcome
